今回は毎日英作４日目の出題意図と講評です。

Do you think drinking alcohol should be banned?
（飲酒は禁止されるべきだと思うか？）
出題意図
代表的な嗜好品であるお酒の是非を問う問題です。
飲酒は殆どの国で認められていますが、イスラームなど飲酒を禁止する宗教もあります（厳しさは地域によって違いますが）。
これもよく問われるテーマですので取り組むに越したことはないと思います。
Yesの立場なら
・飲酒に伴う判断力の低下
・飲酒運転
・アルコールの中毒性
・健康への悪影響
Noの立場なら
・ストレス解消など適量の飲酒によるいい影響
・政府の税収
・飲みの場などコミュニケーションの助けになる
などなどです。
講評
未成年者が多いので書きにくいかと思いきや皆さんとても良く書けていました。
特に多かったのが適量なら問題ないという意見ですね。酒税が高いことに言及している人も多かったです。
中には「飲酒断固反対！」みたいな解答もあり、それぞれの性格が現れており読んでいて面白かったです。
参考になるかはわかりませんが僕の解答例を出してみようと思います。Yesの立場の方が少なかったのでYesで書きます（個人的な意見はNoです。笑）
I believe that drinking alcohol should be banned for the following reasons.
First of all, in general, it is said that alcohol undermines people's ability to judge. By drinking too much alcohol, some people even commit crimes. Actually, some religions such as Islam restrict or prohibit drinking alcohol. I believe it is because people with alcohol would not follow the rule of the religions.
Second, alcohol is very addictive. Thousands of people are addicted to alcohol, which may ends up destoying their body. The most frightening thing is that it is very difficult to stop drinking alcohol you once depend on it. The simplest way to prvent such a situation is stoping selling alcohol.
Indeed, alcohol is very enjoyable but, as I mentioned, it should be banned for the society at large.
